Technically did this last night but just getting around to posting it today!

Since I wasn't really able to focus on any of the ongoing projects, started playing around with the idea of anchors. The idea of being an anchor for someone, and being strong for oneself. Was a nice evening for drawing, with it being so rainy and cold out. Being snuggled up on the couch with my sketchbook and pencils felt nice :)

I did the sketch in pencil:

I scanned it in and traced it in Illustrator, and played around with some color.

I had removed some of the lines from the original sketch that would give more of a clue of it being an anchor, so I decided to add a larger shape in the background to reinforce it. Might play around with this concept some more. Anything that stresses the idea of keeping strong is a good thing I figure :)
