I usually do not share personal things here, but it seems inavoidable given the current situation.

My mother passed away a week ago today, on my birthday. While she had been sick for some time, it still came as a shock to us all.

I hadn't been feeling very creative lately with all the hospital visits and worries. My motivation for creating anything right now is not very robust.

I worked on this today, just trying to get the feel of the color and ink again, without any specific direction or intention. Just for the sake of keeping my hands busy.
